Duygu Arslantaş is a PhD student at Bioengineering Department, Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH). She received her BSc degree from Biochemistry in 2009 from Ege University. Her graduation thesis was “Green Chemistry”. Afterwards, she received her MSc degree in Medical Biology and Genetic Department from Dokuz Eylül University in 2013, her master thesis was “Examination of the gene CALHM1 (Calcium Homeostasis Modulator Factor) in terms of SNPs (Mutation/Polymorphism) in patients with Bipolar Disorder (BD)”.
Currently, she is a member of Biomimetics Group and her research interest is ‘Development of conducting polymer-based fluorescence on/off biosensor for biomolecule analysis’’.
